## Test credentials
The DEV environment ships with three pre-provisioned credential sets you can use to exercise the API without waiting on customer onboarding.
Authenticate with `POST /direct/login` (API Key + Secret) to obtain a **host token**. The host token authorizes every `/direct/*` call. `/users/*` endpoints require a separate **userToken**, obtained via `GET /direct/preauth-token/{id}` (with the host token) and exchanged for a user session at `GET /users/preauth-token/{preauthToken}`.
***EFX 1B With All Features***
Use for single-bureau (Equifax) flows — scores, reports, alerts, identity verification, Score Up, Optimal Path.

***EFX 3B With All Features***
Use for the Equifax 3B product — a merged tri-bureau file (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian) sourced entirely through Equifax as a single enrollment. Same product surface as EFX 1B, with response shapes that contain all three bureaus where the product supports it. For hosts enrolled with the bureaus separately, see the multi-bureau credentials below.

Use to call `POST /direct/credit-pre-screening` against a pre-configured rule set without first building one in the Customer Portal. Authenticate with the API Key + Secret below, then submit the `Rule Set ID` in the request body alongside any test identity from the [Offers IQ test catalog](#offers-iq).

Use for a host enrolled with Equifax, TransUnion and Experian together. Credit data comes back merged, one key per bureau — read it from `GET /users/latest-report` / `GET /users/latest-scores` (user token) or `GET /direct/latest-report/{id}` / `GET /direct/latest-scores/{id}` (host token), not the `efx-*` endpoints.
