# Direct - Profile Management

Server-side endpoints for reading and modifying a user's profile, controlling their credit-bureau enrollment, transferring them between hosts, and closing their account.
**Authentication.** Direct API host token (Bearer JWT obtained from `POST /direct/login`).
**Capabilities.**
- **Profile updates** — change email, mobile, or name.
- **Enrollment control** — pause and resume credit-data refreshes per user; batch variants act on many users in one call.
- **Account transfer** — move a user to a different host.
- **Account closure** — single or batch close. Closure is asynchronous; status is reflected back as `idpass=false` and `deletedAt` is set.
