# Optimal Path

## Optimal Path
**What it is.** The long-form, AI-driven, coached version of Score Up. The user picks a **target score** (301–850) and a **duration** (3–12 months), and the plan returns **month-by-month projections**, **prioritized account-level recommendations** (e.g. *“pay $250 toward Card X by July”*), the top contributing factors, and **difficulty ratings** so the user knows what to expect. Progress is tracked over time with actual-vs-projected indicators.
**What it's for.** Use Optimal Path when you want users to commit to a multi-month journey with structured milestones — it pairs especially well with monthly engagement loops, push notifications, and gamification.
**Bureau coverage.** **Equifax only.** Optimal Path is built on Equifax data and is not offered from TransUnion or Experian, or on the Equifax 3B product. A host must have Equifax enabled to use it.
