# Credit Reports

## Credit Reports
**What it is.** The user's full credit file — trade lines, balances, payment history, inquiries, public records, collections, and bureau-level summaries — pulled from the bureaus your host enables and exposed in two ways: a **live** report fetched fresh from the bureau (subject to the refresh cadence), or a **stored** report read from our encrypted history store with no bureau call. We also produce a printable **PDF** of any report.
**What it's for.** Letting users see exactly what's on their credit file, building credit-aware account dashboards, providing PDF exports for users to share with lenders, and giving your product historical snapshots for trend analysis or dispute workflows.
**Configuration options.**
- **Bureau coverage** — we offer reports from **all three bureaus**: Equifax, TransUnion and Experian. Enable any combination per host — one bureau (**1B**), two (**2B**), or all three (**3B**). We also offer the **Equifax 3B report**, where Equifax alone returns a merged tri-bureau file.
- **Partial enrollment** — if one bureau declines a user, the others still complete and the user reads reports from those. A response can carry fewer bureaus than the host enables, so read the `bureaus` array rather than assuming a key is present.
- **Response format** — each bureau returns its report in **its own format**, so a multi-bureau response has one entry per bureau rather than a single merged shape. A **standard CRS format** covering all three is coming soon. The Equifax 1B and 3B responses are unchanged.
- **Refresh cadence** — weekly or monthly.
